Our Programs > After School – ages 5 to 12

The After School program is based on emergent curriculum with the interests of the children motivating learning.

​

We provide a developmentally appropriate environment with active and hands-on exploration. Children are given the opportunity to reflect on and re-create their experiences and also help staff to display and document all that they have been learning.

​

The After School program provides opportunities for art, music, sensory, role-playing, construction, and cognitive play. We offer this through the use of small group learning or clubs. Outside play and gross-motor activities are also part of the daily schedule.

 

At New Dimensions, we address the needs of the whole child, i.e., their physical, social, spiritual, emotional, language and cognitive development. All areas of development are enhanced, allowing all children to reach their fullest potential.
